About Us

A warm welcome awaits you at St Thomas Church, Kimberworth.

Our vision is to be a church that welcomes and nurtures people of all ages and all stages of faith - meeting together regularly for both lively and reflective worship. Our vision also includes reaching out to serve the local community and share the love of God we have received in Christ with others.  

The style of worship at St Thomas' is contemporary and relaxed.  

Activities through the week include:  

Parent and Toddler Group which meets in the church lounge on a Monday at 9.15 am during term-time, contact Hazel Marsden on (01709) 556611

Church Choir meets in the church lounge at 7 pm Tuesday evenings and always welcomes new voices to come along and join in. 

The parish of St Thomas Kimberworth is committed to high standards in the Safeguarding and care of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Our Safeguarding officer is Mrs F Tasker who can be contacted on 01709 510699.

Although the parish of St Thomas' serves the area of Kimberworth, St Thomas' is part of a Mission Partnership with the other churches to the north west of Rotherham, including Kimberworth Park (St John's), Greasbrough (St Mary's), and Rawmarsh (St Mary's).
