Occurring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue Address
Lindrick Road Woodsetts Sheffield, S818RD, United Kingdom
On the first Sunday each month we have a short service called "Food & Faith" which begins with the sharing of food and fellowship, followed by a 20-minute service. In the past we have had "Croissants & Crowns", "Doughnuts & Delight", "Rocky Road & Rejection" and "Lemon Drizzle & Love".

We aim to have Holy Communion each of the remaining Sundays. However, not having our own vicar, we are reliant upon the availability of visiting priests. Whenever Holy Communion is not possible, a service of Morning Worship is held with local lay leadership.

Fifth Sunday Services rotate round churches in our Mission Area and are held at 10.00a.m. Details are made available in the News and Notices section, on the Church Noticeboard and in the Parish Magazine.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Woodsetts: St George is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO, Mrs Marian Lemon, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
