Holy Trinity Church is open every day for private prayer. You are welcome to visit us to remember her majesty and to pray for her family. There is space for you to write prayers or messages of condolence. If you wish to leave flowers you are welcome to do so. They will be placed in vases around the Church.Our service of Morning Worship (10.30am Sunday 11th Sept) and Holy Communion (10.30am Sunday 18th Sept) will contain prayers for the Queen, the Royal family and our new King.
Holy Trinity's annual Well dressing event starts on Saturday 10th September at 12.00 noon and continues across the week. The completed Well dressing will be blessed on Sunday 18th at 11.30am.The well dressing event will start with a period of silence to mark the death of Her Majesty The Queen.Saturday's event starts the week with drinks and refreshments available plus, as part of Yorkshire Churches Heritage Day there will be an opportunity to view our Victorian Vestments, old Photos etc. All are very welcome to come and try out their Well Dressing skills. We are working to become and ECO friendly Church - so this year's theme of Bees celebrates the establishment of our Bee hive. There will also be an opportunity for papermaking using recycled paper.Come and join us
