The RSPB, The World Wild Fund for Nature and the National Trust have come together out of concern for new proposals to remove EU law in regard to nature. This places the nature we love at risk and without protection. This raises huge concerns in the middle of a nature and climate emergency when the UK Government has only 8 years left to meet their targets for nature recovery. The environment is not an optional extra it is what our lives depend on and our survival depends on. The People's Plan for Nature is an opportunity to respond to this. It is an opportunity for your voice to be heard. The meeting will begin with 20 mins quiet reflection, you are welcome to being something to share during this time, and will continue at 7.20 with discussion in line with the People's Plan for Nature questions. The results will be shared and collated to form part of a People's Assembly for Nature which will result in a plan for nature with robust recommendations for government, farming, communities and individuals. Our meeting is for anyone with a heart and concern for their environment and the future. You can find more details of the People's Plan for Nature on the RSPB website.
