We had a wonderful celebration of Nick's licensing on Monday night. We were very please to welcome Bishop Pete and other members of clergy along with members of the community in Stannington, members of St Thomas Crooks and members of Nick's previous church in Leeds. You can find a link to the service here.
We hope you all enjoyed Christmas Live this year. If you would like to see some photos from the event you can view them by using the download option beside this picture.
Hello! We are really excited to be moving to Stannington and joining you at Christ Church! I am married to Emily (we met at Trinity College Bristol where Emily was a student and I was a vicar student)- and despite being southern softies (I’m from Kent, and Emily is from Hampshire) we are also ‘adopted Yorkshirefolk’! Emily has lived in Leeds for 7 years, and I also lived in Leeds prior to my vicar training, since going to university there. We have Dora (6), Zebedee (4) and Jethro (2). Zebedee will happily tell you how old his parents are!! Dora is very sociable, Zebedee likes brass instruments, and Jethro is into motorbikes…I have been Associate Vicar at St Matts Leeds for four years, and before that did my curacy at St James Woodside in north Leeds. I’m into music, languages, being outside, and doing a little bit of bread baking and beer brewing.
