As promised, here are the very first details of how we are marking the 160th anniversary of the Sheffield Flood.

11am meet at Dale Dyke for short Service of Commemoration

From 12 refreshments will be available in Church and you will be able to see the stunning photography display.

From 1pm Martyn will giving a talk about his photography display. We have managed to secure working with a professional photographer who has been working with other Sheffield organisations to produce a remarkable pictorial story of the flood. Some of his work will feature in City Centre galleries, but we managed to secure him to display some of his work in St Nicholas, Bradfield. Take a look at some of his work on his website https://www.martynpearson.net/

St Nicholas' Church

Set in the dramatic and picturesque Peak District, St Nicholas' is a medieval church which continues as a special place of worship and prayer for all.

Sunday worship in church each week at 10.30am.

The church is normally open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. If the main door is locked, the small priests door should be open. It is quite stiff, so may need a good push to open.

God is love. We pray for the peace of the world.
