Morning Worship

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St Andrew's Psalter Lane Church
Address
31 Psalter Lane Sheffield, S11 8YL, United Kingdom

This morning's service of Morning Worship on Refugee Sunday is a Local Arrangement and is led by Caroline, Mary and Anne; it will also be live-streamed for those who are not able to join us in person; the link for the live-stream will be available before the service.

What is a Local Arrangement? This is when no preacher has been allocated to the church - because there is a great shortage of preachers, every church is now having to accept and embrace a Local Arrangement on each Preaching Plan. We have been very fortunate so far, in part because we also draw on Anglican clergy, but there is a shortage of them too! The Church Stewards and Wardens are responsible for ensuring that worship takes place and they carry the responsibility for “arranging” a Local Arrangement service where one is shown on the Plan. They take the lead in identifying and inviting people to lead and take part.

There will be a small bookstall provided by Rhyme and Reason with books about and by refugees.
