Agape Meal Followed By Vigil

Occuring
for 3 hours
Venue
Whirlow Spirituality Centre
Address
Whirlow Grange Close, S11 9SY, United Kingdom

The Tree of Life is an image and archetype that spans human history and culture. Christians find rich meaning in relating the tree of life to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. This Holy Week we offer reflections, activities and worship that weave together our faith, the world around us and our spiritual lives.

On Maundy Thursday evening you are invited to join us as we share a simple meal, retell the story of the final night of Jesus’ earthly life, reflect on its meaning for us today and finally join in a silent vigil as we watch and pray together. The vigil will continue until 9pm, but there is no obligation for anyone to stay longer than they wish or are able.
