The community of Dore including the congregations of Dore Methodists and Christ Church will join this Sunday morning in a service of Remembrance.
A short service will be held with hymns and prayers.
Silence will be observed at 11am.
Wreaths of poppies will then be laid at the memorial to commemorate those fallen in wartime by a broad cross section of people representing the local community and the Armed Forces.
As the event is outside with very limited seating, please be sure to be dressed for the season.

Christ Church Dore is a friendly, welcoming and caring christian community. People who attend our church mainly live within a few miles of the village centre but, wherever your home is, you are ensured of a warm welcome.

Our Sunday and midweek services cater for a range of styles and forms of worship. Our Sunday 5.30pm main service is family friendly with provision for children; it is also livestreamed. There are a number of active House Groups that meet during the week to support and develop people in their faith.

As a church we enjoy active community outreach links with The Grace foodbank, support services and The Oakes, a christian holiday centre for school age children and young adults.
