In the light of recent events, Christ Church PCC has discussed Black Lives Matter and sought to understand what it means to be a black person in our community, and our society. The intention is to make this a regular item on the PCC agenda, as we determine what actions as individuals, and as a Church, we should take in response. The service on 21st June to be found on our website is dedicated to Black Lives Matter. We have continued to discuss this subject at each committee meeting to check that all our actions are not affecting people who identify as BAME adversely. On 22nd November were focussed our virtual Sunday Service on Black Lives Matter and heard powerful  testimony from some of our church members.
