Sheffield Manor St Aidan w St Luke
Welcome to the page for St Aidan's, part of the Manor Parish in the Diocese of Sheffield where we celebrate the wonderful diversity of human life, and want to serve those among whom we live in working for justice, inclusion, fairness and wholeness, to demonstrate the love God has for the world. We are affiliated to Inclusive Church and understand that we are called to engage with our world, to challenge the barriers which seem to separate the sacred from the secular or which try to define us according to categories such as gender, sexuality, wealth, race, ability or age.
The sacraments and prayer are at the centre of our church life, liturgy is important to us, and we value tradition which is alive and open to change.
We would be delighted to be able to welcome you at any of our services or events.
The parish of Sheffield Manor: St Aidan w St Luke is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Sheffield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
