The Love Feast, or Agape Meal, is a Christian fellowship meal recalling the meals Jesus shared with disciples during his ministry and expressing the koinonia (community, sharing, fellowship) enjoyed by the family of Christ. It is not the same as Holy Communion or the Eucharist. The bread and wine will not be blessed by a priest, we will simply say some prayers together.
We will be sharing a simple meal of bread, cheese, hummus, crackers, fruit such as grapes, figs, dates, plus soft drinks and wine.
We would welcome a donation towards the food/drink, either a monetary donation or a food/drink contribution.
There is a sign up sheet in church or email [email protected] by Wednesday 16th April if you would like to attend.
