Holy Communion
A traditional said service of Holy Communion, using the Book of Common Prayer, held in the Lady Chapel.
Every Wednesday 10.30am – 12pm in St Mary’s Church. All parents and carers with babies and toddlers welcome. Join in the fun: craft, nursery rhymes, singing, music & play. £1 per family includes coffee & biscuit. Please bring drinks for the children in their own cups.
Traditional Maundy Thursday Service with foot washing (Non-Compulsory) and the Watch of the Passion until midnight (again not compulsory).
10am Walk of Witness from St Peter’s Chapel to St Mary’s – with coffee and hot cross buns after.
Solemn Intercessions and the Veneration of the Cross during the Celebration of the Lord’s Passion. there is no Eucharistic rite but communion is distributed from the reserved Sacrament.
