About Us
The Parish of St Lukes is part of the Tunbridge Wells Deanery, within the Archdeaconry of Tonbridge and the Diocese of Rochester. The St Lukes parish lies about 1.5 miles to the north of the town centre of Tunbridge Wells, which is located on the Kent/Sussex border.
We are a lively growing inclusive church, middle of the road in tradition. We seek to be a warm, friendly and open community welcoming to all especially newcomers, and those coming to us for baptisms, weddings and funerals. We provide a range of worship in keeping with the central traditions of the Church of England. We hold the Eucharist at the heart of our faith and worship, offering a service of Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays, and Morning Worship on the second and fourth Sundays at 10.00am. We regularly hold courses for those enquiring about the Christian faith and midweek homegroups for those who seek to deepen their faith through Bible study and fellowship
Our vision statement sums up what we are about;
'St Luke's Church seeks to be at the heart of the community, there for all, helping people to explore their faith and share the love of God'
Do come along and join us as we journey together in love and faith.
