Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) 13th April 8pm 2026
Meeting of the Parishioners for the Election of Churchwardens of St Mary’s and Annual Parochial Church Meeting Monday 13th April starting at 8pm
Come, listen, learn, and take part in shaping the life of your church! The first meeting is a brief meeting to elect churchwardens. Anyone who is on the Church Electoral Roll or who is resident in the parish and whose name is on the register of local government electors (whether or not they attend church) is entitled to vote at this meeting.
If you wish to stand for election as a churchwarden, you will have to be on the Church Electoral Roll. The second and main meeting is an opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate what God has been doing in our church over the past year, and look ahead to the future.
We’ll share updates on church life, finances, and ministries — and elect those who will help guide us in the year ahead. You are entitled to attend and vote at this meeting if you are on the Church Electoral Roll.
If you wish to stand for election as a PCC member or Deanery Synod Representative, you will also have to be on the Church Electoral Roll. If you would like to apply to be on the Church Electoral Roll or would like more information on this, please contact Julie Porter at [email protected]
Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years or have recently joined us, you’re warmly invited to attend.
Your prayers, ideas, and presence make a real difference as we seek to grow in faith together.
Documents relating to the APCM will be emailed to the Church Parishioner mailing list in due course and we shall have a small number available in printed form at the meetings.
If you would like these to be emailed to you or have any queries regarding the meetings, please email me at [email protected].
