Our church is currently open duing the day with a recording of Sunday worship where the service starts roughly on the hour and ends with 10 minutes of silence before the loop begins with preliminary organ music.Each sunday at 10.30 Communal Worship is available in the church building for those who feel a strong spiritual, social or ethical need to be there. It is safer to participate via zoom, for those who are able. If you know someone who would need paper copies to be posted, let me know, I'm happy to arrange that.
Services are going ahead with our usual safety precautions which include booking to keep to a safe number of participants. Details of how to book are atttached to the services and events information. However, if you wish to minimise the risk of being with others do look out for the zoom links for our worship.If you do join us for worship please do not mingle with anyone outside of your household.
Turn our parish into a giant advent calendar by signing up to a day in December and revealing a design in your front garden or window from that day onwards. Weddings, civil partnerships, religious services and funerals</span>Funerals can be attended by a maximum of 30 people, and it is advised that only close friends and family attend. Linked ceremonial events such as stone settings and ash scatterings can also continue with up to 15 people in attendance. Anyone working is not included. Social distancing should be maintained between people who do not live together or share a support bubble.Weddings, civil partnership ceremonies will not be permitted to take place except in exceptional circumstances.Places of Worship will be closed, unless they are being used for:FuneralsTo broadcast acts of worshipIndividual prayerFormal childcare or where part of a schoolEssential voluntary and public services, such as blood donation or food banksOther exempted activities such as some support groups
