Each Sunday the Eucharist is celebrated at 8am and 10.15am. Members of the congregation read and lead intercessions and there is musical input from the Director of Music and members of St Luke's Church Choir. As well as the vicar, we have a number of visiting preachers who offer differing perspectives during the year. Refreshments are served following the 10.15am Parish Eucharist and the congregation is invited to socialise and welcome visitors.
The Sunday Parish Eucharist is based on Common Worship (Order One) modern language and we take full advantage of the authorised freedoms using seasonal material. A set of service books has been prepared for use during each of the main seasons of the Christian year. Individual Orders of Service are prepared for use at each of the major festivals and on other special occasions.
