We were delighted to welcome people who were new to the area to St Peter's last Sunday. The enticing smell of mulled wine, mountains of mince pies, and the happy chatter of people meeting new neighbours filled the church, and made this a very successful event. It hasn't been an easy time for people who have moved house - some who had arrived two years ago commented that they still felt "new" because it has been so hard to meet people - so it was lovely to see new connections being made.
