Holy Week was a busy time for us, starting with 150 people coming to our Easter Party on Palm Sunday.

During the week, we joined in with Crofton's 'School of Prayer' where Rev Amy led one of the morning sessions.  On Maundy Thursday, it was wonderful to meet in the chapel to share a meal and communion. As a church family, HCW prayer for 12 hours on Good Friday starting with noisy family prayers, moving through the Hour at the Cross and culminating in Night Prayer streamed live on our Facebook page.

Rev Amy presented two candidates for confirmation by Bishop Jonathan at the Easter Vigil service in Portsmouth Cathedral on Easter Eve.

Easter Sunday was an extra special celebration when Rev Amy conducted her first baptism at HCW. Hallelujah!
