About Us

St Mary's is a lively community walking together on the way of faith. We are privileged to worship in a beautiful church building situated within the grounds of Portchester Castle and surrounded by spectacular views of Portsmouth harbour. A variety of services and events take place each week at St Mary's and you are very welcome to come along and join us. 

We are intentional about outreach and encouraging people to become disciples of Jesus. The Alpha Course is our main Christian basics course.

We are a congregation of about 350 adults and around 40 children and young people (not all attend at once, or even the same service!) A variety of services and events take place each week at St Mary's and you are very welcome to come along and join us.
