A short walk of 3-4 miles from St John's Church, Newport to St Mary's Church, Carisbrooke, and back through the environs of Carisbrooke Castle and Mount Joy, followed by tea and cake in St John's Church Hall from 2.30pm to 4pm.
You are welcome to join us for tea and cake if you do not want to walk.

St Mary the Virgin

We are the “Church on the Hill” serving God’s people in Carisbrooke. We are a “middle of the road” Anglican church with regular Sunday Services. Everyone is welome.

We are part of the newly formed parish of Newport and Carisbooke with Gatcombe which is comprised of Newport Minster, St John’s, St Mary,s, St Nicholas in Castro and St Olave’s Gatcombe. The parish is part of the Deanery of the Isle of Wight in the Diocese of Portsmouth.
