Join us on a lovely summer afternoon with music, strawberry tea, and a chance to climb the church tower!
From 1.30pm various musicians will be performing in the churchyard for free, with a collection in aid of the Music Foundation. Then, at 2.30pm you can enjoy a Strawberry Tea with a scone, jam and cream, and, of course, strawberries! Tickets for the strawberry tea cost £4 and are available in the church, or can be booked through 02392 822 990 or [email protected].
Finally, from 2-4pm, there will also be a chance to climb the tower to see the stunning views of the city and the surrounding area. You can also see the belfry and look at the breath-taking view over the nave and chancel from the bellringers' room. Terms and conditions do apply, and the last entry is at 3.30pm
Special thanks to Rodda’s Clotted Cream & Tiptree on behalf of the Cream Tea Society for donating the jam & clotted cream!
