Our churches are stripped and empty – our focus is on the Cross and all it stands for and means. We hear John's Gospel's account of the first Good Friday and reflect on the cross, pray at it's feet, and end in stillness receiving the body of Christ.

Join us at St Mary's Church at 1pm for a series of reflections on the cross, interspersed with silence. At 2pm, we will hold a Liturgy of the Cross, as we remember the moment Jesus was crucified.

This service will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel (https://youtu.be/QCT66xETtv4) and our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PortseaParish)

To follow along, you can find the order of service here: https://storage.googleapis.com/portseaparish.appspot.com/1/2025/04/Good-Friday-congregation-2024.pdf

St Faith's Church will also hold a Liturgy of the Cross at 2pm.
