Wanted: Photo Memories of St Mary's Church, Fratton

As part of the Portsmouth We Shine Light Festival (stay tuned for more details this November), and in partnership with Fratton Together, Anna Heinrich & Leon Palmer have been commissioned to make a new artwork called 'Once a Sea'. Anna & Leon are hoping to work with and use a variety of community photographs of St Mary's Church, especially those of special, memorable, or important occasions at, or memories of, the church.

Between 11am-2pm, Anna & Leon will be at the Fratton Together unit (95 Fratton Road, where the Sue Ryder shop was previously located) with a scanner to digitise any photos you would be happy to share and to chat about the project. Contributors will need to give signed permission to share the photos, and will be credited in the online promotion of the project. Alternatively, please email your photos to [email protected]
