This week we marked the end of the Christmas Season and for a period returned to what in the Church’s calendar is called ‘Ordinary Time’. The colour changes from White to Green and from this Sunday we will count down the Sundays till Lent. This is one of those year’s where that period between Christmas and Lent will be the whole of February as Ash Wednesday is March 2nd. That sense of between the times extends beyond the church’s calendar. We have moved out of Plan B in response to COVID but still are in a period of care for each other and caution.
