On Thursday 6th June All Saints Catherington hosted a concert, led by Blendworth Brass Band and organised by the Catherington Village Residents' Association. The Guest of Honour was Mark Thistlethwayte Esq DL, Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Hampshire. A mix of musical pieces, singalong songs and dramatic readings made for an excellent evening of commemorative entertainment, which culminated in a moving tribute and lighting of a beacon at the church as we joined in with so many other places marking this day nationally. Thank you to everyone involved in this memorable event.
