St Paul's Church is in the busy area of New England, surrounded by shops, restaurants and other businesses ! It is great to be part of this vibrant area and when you step inside the building you will be surprised by the sense of God's presence in the beautiful space. Don't miss seeing this Victorian gem, once known as The Railwayman's Church,-just call us on 01733 314117 to arrange a time or come in on a Sunday or Weds when the services begin at 10.30am. Prayer is vital to the life of many worshipping at St Paul's and the Leadership meet monthly for a time of prayer & we have monthly Quiet Days on 1st Tues of the month when the church is open 10-3pm. We also partner with Through Faith Mission (TFM evangelists) to help us in our outreach in New England.
As well as a Sunday and Weds 10.30am service there is a monthly Sunday 4pm gathering ideal if you have young children but all ages welcome. We normally hold baptisms/christenings at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoons that are available & parents are asked to contact us before making arrangements please; St Paul's is a beautiful church for your wedding and please contact us as soon as you are considering getting married in church. We also have Renewal of Marriage Vows services. Rev Ron conducts funerals at the Crematorium and is also able to offer the church for a funeral prior to committal at the Crematorium or or to conduct a Green Burial. Full details when contacting him. When seeing a Funeral Director please inform them that you would like a Christian Minister and, if appropriate, inform them of the name of the Minister a Church.
EVERY WEEK church members give generously items for the Foodbank for those in need. Each MONTH on 1st Saturday the men have a SHED BREAKFAST & Chat time in the church, & occasionally the ladies meet at the same time for a breakfast gathering. The Church website has details of other monthly events and occasions for meeting. Every so often we arrange a local Litter Pick.
