A short (around half an hour) said service of Holy Communion using Traditional Language, held in the Lady Chapel of St John's - this is accessed from within the church and there is level access throughout.

Are you between 8 and 18? Want to join other young people in a safe space? We have a range of activities and events held in the middle of the city every Friday night and you are very welcome to join. We are based at St John's Church, where we have a tuck shop, but use a range of other venues as we often get out and about. Check where we are meeting or for more info. email: [email protected]

Our regular Saturday morning café reopened at the beginning of October, and is open almost every Saturday between 10am and noon. As well as hot drinks home made cakes and scones are available, and proceeds from the café are used to support a variety of good causes, including the church itself. Toy area for children.

This service is shorter and more interactive than our main Eucharist. Everyone of any age is welcome, either alone or with family and friends. The service is visually presented, might have a video or some interactive prayers, lively songs and instruments!

On Sunday 21st September there is a national day set aside for churches across all denominations to focus on prayer for the Holy Land. Both St John's Church PE1 1XB and Peterborough Cathedral will be open throughout the day for you to sit and pray. Prayers will also be said at the services on that day.

From 10am to noon every Wednesday, come along for hot drinks and cake and support the young people gaining valuable work experience. Competitive prices and beautiful surroundings. Toy area for children.

Come along to St John's between 3rd and 14th October, for this incredible exhibition of bible stories portrayed by knitted characters. It includes over 30 tableaux's and includes lots of the well loved stories and parables including The Story of Creation, Noah's Ark and many more.
This exhibition is free to visit, but a donation would support our costs. Open 10am to 4pm every day.
