A short (around half an hour) said service of Holy Communion using Traditional Language, held in the Lady Chapel of St John's - this is accessed from within the church and there is level access throughout.

Are you between 7 and 17? Want to join other young people in a safe space? We have a range of activities and events for young people every Friday night and you are very welcome to join. We are based at St John's Church, where we have a tuck shop, but use a range of other venues as we often get out and about. Check where we are meeting or for more info. email: [email protected]
Our regular Saturday morning café is open every Saturday between 10am and noon. As well as hot drinks home made cakes and scones are available, and proceeds from the café are used to support a variety of good causes, including the church itself. Toy area for children.
This service is shorter and more interactive than our main Eucharist. Everyone of any age is welcome, either alone or with family and friends. The service is visually presented, might have a video or some interactive prayers, lively songs and instruments!

Come along for cake and hot drinks at very reasonable prices and support the young people from City College who come along to learn new skills as they run the café.

Everyone is welcome to come along and have some fun at our crafts morning. There will be lots to do and refreshments will be available. Event is free, just pop in, however donations towards costs are very welcome.
Ash Wednesday is the start of Lent and you are invited to come along and spend some time in worship and prayer to start off this time as we prepare for Easter. This year we are offering an all age ashing service at Noon. Our choir will then sing at the Cathedral Service of ashing at 5.30pm where all are invited.
Knitting group with tuition available. Twice a month on a Saturday between 10am and noon. Please see attached poster for dates.
A time to explore faith and fellowship together with other young people.
Every 5th Sunday of the Month from the end of the service - approx. 12.30pm - until 2.30pm. Recommended donation of £3 to cover food. Dates for 2025 / 2026: Nov 30th / March 29th / May 31st / August 30th.
