Come and join us to try on THE COAT OF HOPES and hear its story and song. HE COAT OF HOPES is a patchwork coat that is on an ongoing walk through Britain to raise awareness of the need to look after our common home in this time of climate emergency. Made, worn and walked by hundreds of people during and since its pilgrimage from the south coast of England to COP 26, the UN climate summit, in Glasgow autumn 2021. The Coat is made up of pieces of blanket into which people, have worked their hopes and dreams.
Join us at Holy Spirit Church on Tuesday 3rd December 2024, 6-7.30pm to try on the coat and hear the story and song of the coat.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Peterborough: The Holy Spirit, Bretton is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO [[email protected]] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor [[email protected] ]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
