The Coronation Big Lunch is a nationwide invitation for communities to share food and fun together. At St Giles we are encouraging everyone to reach out to their neighbours and share lunch together on Sunday 7th May.
Maybe you live in a cul-de-sac and could suggest to your neighbours that you have a street part! Or maybe you’d just like to invite your immediate neighbours to come and share lunch with you in your garden. This is a great opportunity to make new friendships and grow community – give it a go!

If you’d like a coronation style invitation you could download the one attached.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Desborough: St Giles is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
