Good Friday Concert: Meditative Music with Fiori Musicali

Lent Easter

This Good Friday, the renowned musical ensemble Fiori Musicali will present a special selection of meditative music, including Allegri’s iconic Miserere. The performance promises to create an atmosphere of reflection and spiritual contemplation.

Fiori Musicali, founded in 1983 by Dr Penelope Rapson, is celebrated as one of the leading providers of professional classical and early music concerts outside London. With a repertoire spanning from the late Renaissance to the early Romantic period, Fiori captures the authentic sound of music from Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 to Schubert’s Vienna. The ensemble is particularly dedicated to championing England’s Renaissance and Baroque music, with a special affection for the English choral tradition.

Tickets are priced at £25, with a restricted view option available at £15. Concessions are offered for holders of a blue badge, students, and children. There will be a 20-minute interval during the concert, providing an opportunity to purchase wine or non-alcoholic beverages.
