Cracks were discovered in the lead covering the South Aisle roof during the last Quinquennial Inspection. In heavy rain water drips onto one of the pews below and onto the wooden floor behind the South door. This roof has been repaired several times before and now is the time to replace it, before supporting timbers are rotted.

Our small congregation manage to provide an income of over £15,000 each year to meet our day to day running costs, but the cost of repairing the roof is beyond our means. Without your help the building that has stood proudly at the centre of Great Addington for over 700 years will suffer irreparable damage.
