2025 marks a landmark year in the life of St Mary the Virgin, Finedon. We will be celebrating our 675th anniversary. 

Since 1350 St Mary's has been at the heart of the community here in Finedon with people having worshipped, celebrated life events or joined us for countless community events. 

Throughout the year we are inviting people to celebrate with us in different ways, with the culmination of the celebrations being a community service on Sunday 14th of September during our Flower Festival weekend. 

To kick-start this anniversary year we are asking people to "share your story..." whether it be photos of your wedding, a fond memory you have which took place in our building or at one of our events, a family story which has transcended and much more!

Perhaps ancestors were married here, celebrated other key life events with us, or have some cherishes memories friendships made here at St Mary’s. We want to hear from you!
