St Leonard's Rockingham

At St. Leonard’s in the small village of Rockingham, our aim is to reach out to all ages, to show the love of God in real lives, and to help each person to know Jesus more fully.

We believe that God loves all of his world and has uniquely revealed himself in the person of Jesus Christ, through the Scriptures, and continues to make himself known today by the work of the Holy Spirit.

Every age group is represented and valued within our congregation. As people made in God's image, we come alive as we encounter His holiness and love.

Worship is therefore at the heart of our life together, and we gladly extend a welcome to all those who attend our services.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Rockingham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO - Donna Winch on 07830 391934 or [email protected] or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor - Victoria Kellett on 01733 887040 or [email protected].

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub on 0300 126 7000.
