Whiston Church is visible for miles around, set on top of a hill, in the middle of fields. Gorgeous views, but youcan't get near with your car. Park in the village at the bottom of the hill, and walk up the path - have a conversation with the sheep and stop to admire the view (and catch your breath...). It is a beautiful building, built for Anthony Catesby in the early 16th centery.
