A short prayer service.
The annual Ride and Stride day allows you to plan your own route around our local churches, using any transport your sponsors are happy with. Usually people walk or cycle. There are over 350 stunning churches and chapels to visit - many of them open and welcoming. Piddington church will be open as usual for this event and you will have a chance to explore our wildlife-friendly churchyard.
All sponsorship money received will be divided equally between the NHCT (Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust) and the church or chapel chosen by you. Sponsorship forms and a list of open churches and chapels are available from your local organiser.

The amazing Musica charity choir will perform a selection of songs in our church. If you've seen them before you will want to come again. If you haven't seen them before you should!
Our popular Christmas tree festival returns this year on the 7th and 8th of December, with sixteen trees decorated on the theme of favourite Christmas songs in the beautiful setting of our village church. Hackleton Primary School children have created individually decorated baubles that will be displayed, with a prize to be awarded in the school for the best bauble.
The church is open on Sunday from 13.00 to 16:30, entry is by donation, and there will be mince pies and hot drinks on offer. Christmas music will be playing and you are welcome to wander around and enjoy the sights at your leisure.
You are also welcome to join us for a Nine Lessons and Carols and Wassail service on the evening of the 8th December, at 6pm.

Join in our Nine Lessons and Carols service to have a good singalong and a mulled wine or hot drink with mince pies. Arrive from 5.40pm for a drink, and to secure a good seat, as this popular event can leave people standing in the aisles.

The event will be held in the Piddington cemetery. The church will be open to visitors and for prayers. The beacon will be lit around 8.30 pm.
