Join us to celebrate the moment when Christmas Eve transitions into Christmas morning. As the world outside rests in darkness and stillness, experience the peace within through Midnight Mass—a truly special way to honor the arrival of our Savior, born in a humble stable in Bethlehem. Sing along to beloved carols and embrace the joy of this Holy Night. Christmas has come! Emmanuel—God is with us!

St Mary the Blessed Virgin

Our Church in Great Houghton is open for communal worship at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in accordance with Government guidelines. We are also active on line, recording church services that you can watch on Youtube and meeting during the week on Zoom. The parish of Great Houghton: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
