About Us

You will find a welcome at St Luke’s Church, one of two active Anglican communities and one closed church (St Michael's Church, Upton) in the parish of Duston & Upton. The parish is a Team Ministry. The churches in the Parish are united by our common belief in Christ, serving the community in Duston and Upton, Northampton.

St. Luke's is an early monastic church, built in the 12th century as a place of worship for Augustinian monks from the nearby St. James Abbey. During the late 13th and early 14th centuries, the church was extended to its existing size with the addition of the south porch, aisles and chancel. It has a mixture of architecture owing to its gradual construction across the centuries.

We share our services with St Francis Church in Duston.  please go to our website.https://www.facebook.com/dustonparish for details of the forthcoming location and times
