To remember the service men and women who have died in the violence of war, and to pray for those who suffer as a result of conflict.

St Mary's Grendon

St Mary's Church building is open daily from approximately 9am until 3pm during which time anyone is welcome to visit.  Holy Communion services are held monthly on the third Sunday at 10.30am and we have an outdoor service at the Pocket Park (at the northern end of Main Road, next to the brook) on the second Sunday at 4pm.  Everyone is welcome to come to any of our services which are all 'family friendly'.  We also have a children's corner where the little ones can have access to books and play activities during the service if they wish.

The parish of Grendon: St Mary's is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
