Our Mission

At Holy Cross, we welcome everyone to our church. The bells ring out to announce the good news of the Kingdom at our weekly services. We encourage individuals to pray and read the bible and praise God with song.

Christian life is about lifelong learning and we teach, baptise and nurture new believers by weekly sermons and bible study.

We are a caring parish and respond to human need by loving service with pastoral visits and fellowship groups. We work alongside other agencies providing resources and food to the local communities.

As a parish, we actively pray for unjust structures of society and challenge violence of every kind. We are a peace-loving community, praying for peace and reconciliation, recognising our need for God’s transformational spirit.

As a rural parish, we are aware of God’s creation and we strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the Earth. We are conscientious in trying to reduce our carbon footprint and conserving what we have.
