Safeguarding is the concern of everyone. This involves all of us being alert and vigilant to anything we see, hear or feel that makes us question, or does not seem right.
We are offering a Basic Safeguarding Course on Monday 28th October at 6.00pm at Weston Favell Church Hall. The course should not last more than an hour and a half.

Our parish of St Peter's Weston Favell is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. Safeguarding is the concern of everyone. This involves all of us being alert and vigilant to anything we see, hear or feel that makes us question, or does not seem right.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO- Joy Matsell - at [email protected] and by telephone on 01604 627175 or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.
