I am delighted to announce that following interview and with the agreement of Bishop Donald and the Parish Representatives, The Revd Kathryn Evans currently Assistant Curate of Brington with Whilton and Norton, Church Brampton with Chapel Brampton and Harlestone and East Haddon and Holdenby - ‘The Spencer Benefice’, has been offered and has accepted the invitation to become Team Vicar of Daventry (Rector Designate of Ashby St Ledgers, Braunston and Welton). The appointment of The Revd Kathryn Evans is subject to the normal Church of England legal and administrative procedures and will be Licensed by +John, Bishop of Brixworth on a date to be announced. Bishop Donald and I are very grateful to all who helped with the preparation of the profile, all the arrangements for the interview and for the continuing and encouraging ministry of the parishes in the service of Christ during the vacancy. Please pray for Kathryn as she completes her ministry in The Spencer Benefice and as she prepares to move to Daventry and to work with the villages in Ashby St Ledgers, Braunston and Welton.
