This historic choir founded in 1946, sing an extensive repertoire including many well-known pieces.

In 1980 they were granted the privilege of wearing the Northampton Coat of Arms badge in recognition of the Choir’s fundraising for local charities.

The Choir say of themselves:

We are a long-established and forward-thinking choir with around 90 singers from Northamptonshire and beyond, under the inspirational leadership of our Musical Director, Stephen Bell.

We are a Choir of like-minded singers who enjoy the friendship of our fellow Choir members and who sing for pleasure and who strive at all times to give the best possible performance.

We enjoy the thrill of singing to large audiences, frequently in the surroundings of magnificent buildings.

We enjoy extending our knowledge of music and choral singing thereby enhancing the quality of our performance.
