Lent starts in the middle of February and finishes at the end of March. During this time, we will be running a Lent Book Club – meeting about 4 times on a Monday evening at the White Horse Pub in Welton. We will be looking at the book “The Things He Carried” by Stephen Cotterell and the group will be guided by Helen, our local Waterways Chaplain assisted by Jackie Hibbert (Church warden, Welton). The group will meet over four Mondays from 7pm for about an hour; 19th February, 26th February, 4th March and 11th March. Attendance at every session is not essential as you can follow the book at home too. Please contact Jackie if you want a book, or if you want further details of location. ([email protected])
