Our bellringers will be continuing the custom of ringing the bells till just before midnight, drinking a toast and then welcoming 2025 by firing the bells (all ring simultaneously!) for midnight and ringing some call changes. Visiting and lapsed ringers are very welcome to come and join in and non-ringers are very welcome to come and enjoy the festivity so long as they don't get entangled in moving ropes! Enter by the tower door, not through the church.

During the interregnum, with thanks to the Revd Greg Shaw, we are maintaining a regular monthly celebration of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. We use the Common Worship format for the service with hymns. We look forward to those attending stopping for coffee and chat afterwards.

Coffee Morning in Church

Coffee morning - The monthly coffee morning in St Mary’s Church will be held on the 3rd Tuesday from 10.30am to 12 noon.

The monthly church lottery will be drawn about 11.30am. Everyone will be most welcome to come along for coffee, tea, home-made cake and chat.
