Evensong

Occurring
In January, February, March, October, November, December. Every First Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
The Most Holy Trinity
Address
Hinton-in-the-Hedges Brackley, NN13 5NG, United Kingdom

This is a traditional evening service, and a good way to close the day or the week.
We follow Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer, which is itself built on services going back to the start of the monastic tradition. it is one part of what has made Evensong a much loved and timeless service that allows for peace and contemplation as we give voice to the ageless poetry of the evening service.
We would love to see you.

Available during the 'winter' months (from September to March inclusive - when Steane Evensongs not conducted), but not on the same Sunday as a Benefice service - see Church Notice Board / Pew Leaflet

The Most Holy Trinity

Welcome to our page on the church of The Most Holy Trinity in the village of Hinton-in-the-Hedges.

We have had a parish church in Hinton-in-the-Hedges since Saxon times. As it stands today, Holy Trinity made up of many parts, with each generation leaving their mark on the building. Uniting all these different ages and styles is the single purpose of our church, to be the home of a living Christian Community, and the house of God in our village.

We have three services a month (with some extra at times of the year) as well as housing special services, concerts, talks, and events. Our Church is open, thanks to our kind volunteers, during the day to offer a peaceful space to pray, or just a place to breath in the middle of the busyness of the week.

Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy our church space. To explore our unique history, our beautiful building and monuments, or to join us as we meet together to pray, to celebrate, to share the ups and downs of life, and to praise God.

We look forward to welcoming to you soon.

Safeguarding

We take safeguarding very seriously and we committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Peterborough’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
