About Us

The Parish Church of Chipping Warden is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul. It stands next to another local land mark know as the Steps; this marks the site of the medieval market place and once held the market cross.

The church is open most days between 10am and 4pm and everyone is welcome, whether to view the internal features or to take time for quiet contemplation .

The Church is Grade 1 listed and dates back to medieval times and still has many of features of craftsmen of that time. Together with the stained glass window and the etched window in the tower, (dedicated to those who served at the local wartime airfield),  St Peter & St Paul's  is a wonderful backdrop to any service, especially a wedding service.
