About Us

St. Michael's Church is the historic parish church situated in the heart of Aynho village (often known as the Apricot Village thanks to the profusion of apricot trees growing on the houses along the main road). We are fortunate to have our beautiful and unique church building, with our medieval tower, and the main body of the church that was rebuilt in the classical Georgian style. We are cited at the heart of our community, close by Aynho Park, and overlooking the deer park as the country slope down into Oxfordshire.
We are open as a place for prayer and visitors each day, thanks to our team of volunteers. As well as our building, which has provided hope, shelter, and the Word of God in our village for centuries, we are a community that comes together in peace, prayer, and worship. We look forward to welcoming you.
