Christingle Service

Bring all the family along for our afternoon Christingle Service with popular carols and performances from the choir. Starts with a Nativity in Cathedral Square at 3pm and then we are all coming over for the Christingle in the Cathedral, estimated start time 3.30pm.

There will be live donkeys (their names are Mandy and Elise!), the Salvation Army Band, and three different children’s choirs (St John’s Junior Choir, the Cathedral Junior Choir, and the youngest Cathedral Choristers), plus lots of oranges kindly donated by Bean Around.

Peterborough Cathedral

The Cathedral is the Bishop's principal church for the Diocese of Peterborough - covering the north of Peterborough, Northamptonshire and Rutland. It has been a house of prayer, welcome and service for over 1300 years. The present building has been inspiring awe and wonder for 900 years. All are welcome and here all are embraced in the love of Christ.
