The Coat of Hope: The Coat of Hopes is a patchwork pilgrim coat, on an ongoing walk through Britain, with the aim of building connection and opening conversations about how we meet the climate and ecological emergency as individuals and communities. A group of pilgrims carrying the coat set out from St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh at the end of August, and it will be on display on Holy Island until 18th October. It is passing through Bamburgh on 20th October; if you would like to come and see the Coat, share some food together and hear its story, do come along to Bamburgh Vicarage (20 Radcliffe Park) at 6.30pm on Friday 20th.
